This is an exceptional book. The tag line says it all, “What the world’s greatest managers do differently”. Reading this really re-enforced the great things one can do as a manager and helped to teach a lot of new ideas that great managers do when compared to most managers. The book outlines many aspects of dealing with people, peers and your own habits and communication. Guidelines to find people with the right skills for a job, and then focus on enhancing and rewarding what’s already there. Everything is quite applicable since it deals with what you should DO, so is relatively easy to apply. The book is based on a massive pile of data and research so is proven based on real information, not theory.
