		<description>From a social psychology perspective, it would be about reducing internal cognitive dissonance.  We want to be consistent with ourselves.  We don&#039;t want to say one thing, but do or believe another.  If you consistently say something, well, then you rationalize that you must believe it to be true.  This is one way how persuasion works.

I don&#039;t get the diff between saying &quot;I believe that&quot; or &quot;I think that&quot;, since the latter can be short for &quot;I think that (I believe) that ... blah, blah, blah&quot;</description>
