		<description>You are so right Lance, people often see that as a reason NOT to learn or teach others.  You need to ensure that this is not allowed or encouraged and that those who train and develop others are given other benefits and promotions and such.  it also helps to simply provide an example of something that one person knows that is risky to the company or a task that one person knows but doesn&#039;t like doing themselves.  If you train someone else, then multiple people are available to do that task.  No one gets stuck doing the same task over and over they don&#039;t like.

If you look for some of the benefits that people will have by training more, you can motivate them to learn and train themselves.  Make sure they understand the expectations and that it does tie somehow to performance or promotion in the company.  Even if its tied to choice of work or something simple, it helps.  Good luck with your training!</description>

		<description>We will be doing a lot of training at our office over the course of the next few months.  Many, I&#039;m  sure, will question why we need to.  And we need to so everyone is on the same page.  And to eliminate errors.  But people sometimes have a mentality of if I train someone else, then they&#039;ll know as much as me.
