Hi Mike, really well written article.
In particular, I like the section about eliminating ego based perception and focusing on the areas that have lasting impact. I love it when people practice what they preach, nothing is more of a turn off than 'fakes'. Its a great reminder for my own life, well done!

Very true Khalid and good to see you comment again, we haven't talked in a little while. I can understand that it applies with kids but unfortunately I think that adults tend to be just as likely to have that dual personality though (work and home). I certainly discovered that about myself the last few years and have been more aware and working to eliminate it and stay consistent in all areas.

Good post Mike! The principle of maintaining a single identity (brand) applies even more to kids; who tend to adopt dual personalities: one at home and one at school (or when with friends). Since they may not be able to appreciate why this is important, it is up to us (parents) to emphasize why, and do this early on.

Thanks Bryan, I really appreciate the great compliments.
And yes, I would certainly encourage people to subscribe at Henrik's blog. The positivity blog was actually one of the very first blogs I ever started reading and I've never been disappointing.

This is an excellent post. It really hits home for me as I believe in the power of a person's brand or identity. You do a great job offering practical tips and suggestions and getting the reader to think about who they are, what they want to be and how to be true to yourself. I also appreciate you linking me to Positivity Blog. Looks like a great sight and I've signed up. I look forward to seeing some of your other writings.
