I am great at working on myself for myself. I guess I could get better results collaborating with people on-line. It's all about continual improvement. I am starting to study a book each month and master it and the results will be.

I heard from our company;s CEO that his secret to success was to do something outside his regular work scope that his boss will like. I have been thinking about this recently and I think he means what is important is how good you are at understanding what is important to the company.

@Jarrod - Thanks for the comments and yes, that direction of life priorities helps us to focus on the important and see the gaps that are neglected, you are right.

@Steve - I'm glad to spark any ideas or thinking on the subject of life priorities, its critical to success, yes, as you said.

@Pk, thanks for the comment. Who is Steve?

Focusing on strengths and working an action plan on our weaknesses; focus on priorities; and being persons of character: these are success factors that can set us apart from the competition. Thanks for a thought provoking essay, Mike.

I find that when I have my work priorities in order, I know what areas need to be attacked first! Also when we evaluate our life priorities it gives us direction and allows us to manage areas that need tending to or areas that we're possibly neglecting.
