Time is there for those who choose to use it. We all have the same amount to us, it is not a matter of HAVING the time, its a choice to take it for what you want it for. If you want to enjoy the beauty of the mountains, go do it. If you are not doing that, then it is YOU my friend who are simply choosing other things instead. Let me encourage you as I’m sure you already know, choose differently if you don’t have the time now and go take the time for what you want. Afterall, what are you waiting for?

Great pictures Mike. I also appreciate the analogy of climbing mountains applied to life’s challenges. Made me want to take a hike but thing I’ll wait for the temperature to back off some. It’s been on the mid 90′s in southern Oregon.

The photos are breathtaking. Things like that always remind me just how insignificant any problems I may have really are. When you remember how vast and beautiful the world is, the small stuff seems so insignificant.

I have a small garden which gives me great joy, but at least once a week I have to get out to the countryside, or a huge park and have a good few hours of walking, massively clears my head, reinvigorates me and is just great!!
And while the scenery is very different, some of the UK countryside provides stunning views….I rarely take a camera but may start doing so now.

In nature you’ll find my church. Thank you for sharing your awesome pictures, along with your introspection and insight, Mike. For me an early morning recharge works really well, but I am blessed enough to live in a wild part of the world, with a garden to enjoy tranquil moments in. City dwellers don’t always have that available to them, so getting away for breaks like this one becomes even more important in maintaining an even keel.

Wow those are great photos, the mountains look so nice. I agree the weekday is one big Hill and the weekend is the summit then the week starts again and it repeats.
